Bang Bang Halloumi
Ingredients
- 2 Pissourkotiko Traditional Goat and Sheep Halloumi , Charalambides Christis
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 120 g Mayonnaise
- 50 g Sweet Chili Sauce
- 15 g Hot Chili Sauce , like Sriracha
- 15 g Honey
- 1 tsp Mild Smoked Paprika
Instructions
- We start with the halloumi by cutting in thick slices and then each slice in 4-5 chunks of halloumi.
- We make the bang bang sauce by whisking together the rest of the ingredients (except of the sesame seeds) in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Add ¾ of the sauce in a bowl with the halloumi chunks and mix well so that every piece is well coated. Place in the basket of an air-fryer and fry for 14’ at 200°C and until golden brown while tossing them couple of times while frying.
- Remove from the air-fryer and add in a serving plate, drizzle with the remaining bang bang sauce and scatter on top the sesame seeds.
