Trip For Traditional Cypriot Sweets Made Out of Grape Juice. October is the month following the end of grape harvesting and it is largely celebrated in the so called โ€˜wineโ€™ villages of Cyprus with the making of local sweet delicacies. A tradition of many years that lingers our taste buds!

The Highlights of This Trip

The highlight of the visit at Kilani village on a misty Sunday in October of 2017 was the private demonstration at a workshop of the making of these sweets, namely Siousioukkos and palouzes!
