Trip For Traditional Cypriot Sweets Made Out of Grape Juice. October is the month following the end of grape harvesting and it is largely celebrated in the so called ‘wine’ villages of Cyprus with the making of local sweet delicacies. A tradition of many years that lingers our taste buds!
The Highlights of This Trip
The highlight of the visit at Kilani village on a misty Sunday in October of 2017 was the private demonstration at a workshop of the making of these sweets, namely Siousioukkos and palouzes!
