It’s an annual ritual for good friends Nicos and Eleni bringing together family and friends to celebrate Easter Sunday.
As most of us have been fasting, some for the full lent period of 50 days and others for few days, it’s customary to enjoy meat, mostly lamb, and cheeses in the form of Flaounes!
Some of us gathered early in the morning for the BBQing preparations that included skewering the meat on the long spits, lighting the charcoal and patiently waiting for the meat to cook while enjoying smoked sausages and matured grilled Halloumi with Pitta bread.
Below are some shots and short videos from the BBQing.
Thanks Nicos and Eleni!
