An easy Coleslaw salad that goes nicely with burgers and BBQ. Try to make my Easy Mayo for the dressing instead of the ready-made ones
Classic Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1 white Cabbage , shredded, inside core removed
- 2 Carrots , shredded sideways
- 1 Apple , shredded
- 1 Shallot , thinly sliced
- 120 grs Mayonnaise press Mayonnaise for recipe
- 3 tablespoons Cider Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 teaspoons Fennel Seeds , crushed
- 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk the vinegar, mayonnaise, fennel seeds, honey, salt and pepper.
- Add the cabbage, apple, carrots and onion, mix well, cover and let sit for 30 minutes.
