Asian Shrimps
Servings: 3 People
Ingredients
- 750 g Shrimps 13/15 , headless, peeled and deveined
- 2 Inch Ginger , peeled and roughly cut
- 2 Scallions , white and green parts, roughly cut
- 1 ½ tsp Garlic Paste
- 20 ml EVOO , Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 40 ml Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
- 20 ml Ponzu Sauce , or replace with lemon juice
- 25 ml Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sweet Chili flakes , ground
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients but the shrimps into the bowl of a food processor with the metal blade attached and whiz until well cut and mixed. Keep aside the marinade.
- Place the shrimps into a bowl and pour over them the marinade and refrigerate for 30’ and up to 2 hours.
- In the meantime, turn the oven to 250° C, broiler/griller on and rack placed to the top position.
- Remove the shrimps from the fridge and add into a baking dish. Tilt the dish to allow any juices to be discarded and place in the preheated oven cooking for 3’. Remove from the oven, flip the shrimps and cook for a further 2-3’. Remove and serve.
