Grilled Shrimps
Servings: 4 People
Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Shrimps , peeled and deveined, tails-on
- 50 ml EVOO , Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 25 ml Lemon Juice
- 1-2 Clove Garlic , finely minced
- 1 tsp Dry Oregano , ground
- 1 tsp Sweet Chili flakes , ground
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley , roughly chopped
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients, except the shrimps and parsley, into a large bowl and whisk to create a marinade. Then add the shrimps and toss gently. Allow for the marinade to infuse the shrimps for about 1 hour.
- In the meantime, turn the oven to 250° C, broiler/griller on and rack place to the top position.
- Take a large no-stick oven proof sheet and add the shrimps. Brush with the remaining marinade and place in the oven to cook for about 2 ½’ and until slightly pink. Don’t overcook the shrimp. They should be pink and opaque when they’re cooked through. Remove from the oven, turn them on their side and cook for further 2’.
- Serve in a flat plate and sprinkle on top the parsley.
