Glazed Carrots with Miso and Honey
Servings: 8 People
Ingredients
- 750 gr Carrots , peeled
- 30 gr Butter , unsalted
- 2 tablespoons Miso paste
- 1 Lemon , peeled
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 250 ml Water
- 50 ml Lemon juice
- 1 ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Place a medium-large pot on medium heat. Add the water, carrots, butter, miso, lemon juice and peel, honey and salt. Stir gently and bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes with the lid on.
- Increase the heat to high, take the lid off and reduce to glaze while tossing frequently for 10 minutes.
- Serve in a flat dish with the carrots arranged next to each other.
