Pork Ribs, Baked
Ingredients
- 1 ½ kgs Pork Ribs , 3 baby back racks, membrane removed, halved and halved again
- 200 ml Whiskey and Peaches BBQ Sauce , press Whiskey and Peaches BBQ Sauce for recipe
- Sea Salt
- freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 135 degrees C, air circulation, rack in the centre of the oven.
- Place the ribs in a roasting baking dish with the meat side up and season with the salt and pepper.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
- Increase the oven temperature to maximum, turning on the grill (broiler) and remove the dish from the oven. Uncover and brush both sides of the ribs with the BBQ sauce.
- Place the grill rack on the second highest level and broil for 3-4 minutes, then take out of the oven, turn and toss and broil for 3 more minutes. You want the sauce to caramelize.
