Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
- 2 Large Red Onions , halved and thinly sliced discarding the center part
- Apple cider , enough to cover onions, about 5 tablespoons
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon All-Spice Berries
Instructions
- Thinly slice the Onions, put in mesh and pour hot water on them.
- Dilute 5 tablespoons apple vinegar, 1 tablespoon sugar or honey and 1 teaspoon salt with 2 balls of all spice.
- Place onions in a jar and pour the diluted vinegar on them and mix well. Refrigerate.
