It’s a sauce, it’s a dip, it goes almost with everything! Haven’t yet met anyone who doesn’t like it!
Tahini Sauce
Ingredients
- 300 grs Tahini , raw
- 1 tablespoon Sea Salt
- 170 ml lukewarm Water , (40 to 45 degrees C)
- 100-120 ml Lemon juice , (to taste)
- ½ clove Garlic , finely chopped
- ¼ cup fresh Parsley , to garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl add the Tahini and the salt. Whisk lightly for a minute.
- Slowly pour in 100-120 ml of the water while whisking.
- Add half the lemon juice while whisking.
- Keep whisking and continue adding a bit of the remaining lemon juice and then a bit of the remaining water so that you achieve the desire density and acidity. It should be slightly thick, not running, so you add water only when the desired acidity has been achieved and you wish to reduce the density.
- Add the garlic and keep whisking lightly.
- Garnish with the parsley.
