Peaches Marmalade
Ingredients
- 5 Kgs Peaches , ripe
- 800 g Sugar
Instructions
- Pit and cut the peaches in quarters.
- Use a large pot/casserole and place on fire. Immediately add the peaches and the sugar and give it a stir/toss. Cover, allow to heat up for couple of minutes and reduce the heat to low.
- Cook for about 2 hours, stirring every 5-7’ so as not to burn the base. Ready when the peaches break up and softened but still a bit chunky. Remove from the fire and allow to cool before storing in sterilised jars.
